What we store
We only ask for an email, a name and a password. But taking classes generates more than that, and we would rather list all of it:
| From your account | Your email address, the name you want to be called by, your native language, the date you signed up and the date you last visited. The password itself is not stored: what is kept is a cryptographic hash (Argon2) it cannot be recovered from. |
|---|---|
| From your classes | The language and level you enrol at, the topic and length of each class, and the transcript of what is said in it. It is the most sensitive item on this list and it is essential: without the text of the conversation there is no report of your mistakes and no way to see whether you are improving. |
| From your progress | Each class report (what you got right, the corrections, your estimated level, vocabulary), the exercises generated for you and your answers, and the achievements you have earned. |
| From your payments | Amount, date, package bought and the Stripe reference for the transaction. We never see or store your card at any point: payment details are entered directly into Stripe. |
| From your balance | Every credit movement: purchases, holds, usage and refunds. |
Class audio is not recorded. Your voice is processed live so the conversation can happen, and it is not stored anywhere by us or in any recoverable form; what remains is the text transcript.
What we use it for
- Delivering the service — running the class, correcting you, writing the report and keeping track of your credits. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Getting paid — handling payments and meeting tax and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Keeping the platform up — technical logs to spot failures and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Writing to you when we need to — resetting your password if you ask, confirming your account, telling you a class report is ready and that you are running low on credits. The last two can be turned off in your account; the first two cannot, because one you asked for and the other is the receipt for creating the account. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
We do no advertising profiling, we neither sell nor pass your data to third parties for commercial purposes, and we do not send you promotional email you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
To work at all, the platform relies on these providers, acting as data processors:
| OpenAI | Processes the speech in the class and generates the teacher's replies, the reports and the exercises. It receives the audio of the conversation and the text needed to write the report. United States, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Processes payments and receives your email and the amount. Ireland and the United States, under standard contractual clauses. |
| Hetzner Online GmbH (Alemania) | Hosts the servers the platform and its database run on. |
| Cloudflare | Checks that whoever creates an account or asks for a quote is a person and not a robot. It receives your IP address and technical signals from your browser while the check runs, and only on those two forms. It sets no cookies and builds no profile. United States, under standard contractual clauses. |
| Measures how the site is used — which pages get visited and where people arrive from — and only if you accept analytics. Until you do it receives nothing, not even your IP address, because the tag never loads. Ireland and the United States. The cookie policy has the whole story. |
The class is a direct audio connection between your browser and our server: it does not pass through any third-party service and it is not recorded.
How long we keep it
- For as long as your account is open.
- When you delete it, everything goes at once: account, classes, transcripts, reports, exercises and credit movements. There is no hidden copy and no grace period.
- The one exception is the accounting record of payments already made (amount, date and Stripe reference), which tax and company law require us to keep. It is stored with no link to you: deleting the account detaches it from your identity and leaves it as an anonymous entry.
- Backups are rotated and overwritten within 30 days at most.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict it and ask for it to be ported. Two of those do not need you to write to us:
- Erasure — delete the account yourself from your account, instantly.
- Access — your classes, reports and credit movements are visible in the platform itself for as long as the account exists.
If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Children
The service is not aimed at children under 14. Between 14 and 18, consent from a parent or guardian is required.
